Bowen Town Bonanza II

This tour is an extension of the Bowen Town Bonanza.

After Kayaking across the Tauranga Harbour we take a short walk up to the Bowen Town Pa Site.  Steep in history and offering outstanding views this walk not only gives you an insight into the areas history but lets you stretch your legs.

On your return  we will have lunch and for those who wish can have a swim in the safe sheltered shores of Anzac Bay or Shelly Bay.

After Lunch we get on the bikes and take a leisurely ride along quiet country roads towards Waihi Beach.

At Waihi Beach we go for another walk.  This time it is the Orokawa Bay scenic walk. It is among the most spectacular spots in the area. It comprises 145 hectares of native bush. But it's the walk to Orokawa Bay itself that provides a touch of paradise.

The dream walk starts at the western end of Waihi Beach with an easy 45 minute walk past Oukori Bay (Shark Bay) and down into Orokawa Bay itself.

On our return you will be transported back to Tauranga.
