Adventure Bay of Plenty has combined culture, heritage and adventure all into one unique package. You couldn’t ask for a better way to explore Rotorua's iconic natural & cultural gems (taonga), than by bike with your own personal guide as you head over to the Whakarewarewa Village. Be overwhelmed with your visit to the living thermal village as you experience typical "Kiwi" traditions and unique treats like a delicious Whaka Hangi Pie and corn cob cooked from the largest natural cooking pool in the Southern Hemisphere.

We offer two cycling options to cater for all levels of fitness and skill.  

1. Cycle the Heritage Trail where you will enjoy the history and beauty within the Government Gardens, see some amazing geothermal features at Sulphur Bay. This ride starts from the Rotorua lake front and offers a flat easy going ride along popular routes of the city.
2. Have fun riding within the world famous Redwoods.  Offering a huge range of trails for all levels of experience.

Whakarewarewa Village is offering two option to choose from:

1. Meet your own personal Whaka Guide at main entrance for a private behind the scenes tour through Whakarewarewa. This will include a hands on activity.  Enjoy a Whaka Snack  including a corn cob & hangi pie whilst on your tour with your Guide. You will then experience a Cultural show before having free time to explore the village or walking tracks at own leisure. PRICE: $143pp

2. Meet your own personal Whaka Guide at main archway for a private guided tour and hands on performing arts activity. Be escorted to the Café area by your Guide who will then farewell you at this point. Enjoy a sit down lunch which will include Whaka Hangi Pie, Salad, Corn Cob, Dessert and self-service tea, coffee. You will then experience a Cultural show before having free time to explore village at own leisure. PRICE $154pp
